On a recent trip, I had an aha moment that brought everything full circle for me—not just as a professional, but as a human being.


I’ve always been big on hospitality. It’s in my DNA. I remember growing up in a home where financial resources were limited, but warmth and welcome were never in short supply. My mother, the late Revalee Holly Davis, made sure of that. Everyone who walked through our door was offered something to eat, something to drink, and most importantly, a sense that they mattered.


My aha moment came while reading Key Person of Influence by Daniel Priestley and Mike Reid. In it, they talk about purpose, brand identity, and what truly makes someone or something unforgettable. It cemented what I’ve always felt deep down:


“Great hospitality is for everyone.”

Hospitality isn’t just reserved for guests at five-star hotels or VIP clients. It’s for anyone who comes into contact with your brand-whether you're running a business, hosting an event, or simply showing up in the world. Hospitality should never discriminate.
